Zambeze Crocodile Ranch is situated between Nelspruit and Barberton, Mpumalaga, South Africa. This subtropical region provides an ideal climate for crocodiles with temperatures ranging from 33°C in Summer to 16°C in Winter. Mpumalanga Province includes the famous Kruger National Park, home of the Big Five and the Nile crocodile. The town of Barberton is rich in history as it was once a very important gold mining town. Gold was discovered in 1883.
